We all have people that have loved us in to being— I was lucky enough to have my people be my older siblings.

Laura— The oldest of the three— she’s one of the most determined, interesting, well rounded people you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing. Laura’s a kick ass Occupational Therapist that embodies “do no harm, take no shit” while she also maintains compassion, care, and dedication. She’s the all knowing older sister that can give advice on anything from the best books to read to the cutest outfit to wear. I’ve spent a good portion of my life trying to be just like her. Everyone that knows Laur can feel her love immediately. Her thoughtfulness, consideration, and passion continue to inspire me. Anything on this blog that looks beautiful and is clearly well researched is more than likely hers.

Mike— The middle of this triad— he’s the most intelligent, considerate, and patient human. The fact that he could live with me while I was in middle school speaks volumes about the content of his character. He’s the kind of person to lay on the bathroom floor with you because you ate too many chocolate chip cookie bars at your cousin’s grad party (which seriously, I did that to myself). He’s a “no questions asked, I’ll be there for you at 3am” brother/friend/roommate. I swear he doesn’t have a weakness. He’s intelligent, but he’s also compassionate, artistic, informed, social, hilarious, and well loved to say the least. My friends in high school used to come over just to hear the funny shit that he would say during the ongoing soliloquy that is his life. Anything on this blog that is well written, full of wit, and shit your pants funny is without a doubt his writing.
